update on our crazy

update on our crazy:
elijah got to go to school monday. he was fever free, but he said his ear hurt. we should go to the doctor.
the hubs pointed out: you should take judah too. he's had a cough. see if he's got anything that needs meds before you have to make even MORE trips to the pediatrician.
go to doctor with two kids.
wait a freakin' long time.
ear infection for elijah.
nada for judah. he's got healthy looking ears. yay. victory. right?


head home. move on with our week. until last night when judah said his ear hurt. judah can, at times, be a seeker of attention, so we monitored him, gave him some ibuprofen, and decided to wait and see how he felt in the morning. took him in today.
mind you, we just saw the pediatrician monday. his ears were fine. remember?
ear drum RUPTURED.
are you kidding me? it was like 48 hours since he was given the green light of good health.
poor little man!
he handled it like a champ. he only cried a little yesterday afternoon so we really thought nothing was wrong!
bad mom.

so now 3 out of 4 kids are on antibiotics.


my toe is NOT broken, it just hurt for a few days.
no one else has gotten a fever since elijah so that's wonderful news.
and the hubs is taking care of the kids this weekend.
you know what i'm gonna do? sleep in until at least 7:30am.
WHAT?! i know.
